Age of people involved
This picture was generated with our own Visual Analyst 3D. Each peak represents an average age of people involved in accidents in a given area in Melbourne. Note that the analyst is able to plant markers and flags, with their unique text and image displayed, which are used to annotate the terrain with notes and observations.
The terrain often interpolates missing values and attempts to smooth the overall area, thus, giving an overall impression of data distribution, e.g. see the age of people in accidents across the whole of Victoria:
